MasterControl Summer Carnival 2011
Sunday, August 21st, 2011Every year Chris’ company has a summer carnival at different locations and this year we went to the Snow Bird Resort. They gave us unlimited access to the Alpine Slide, Ropes Course, Climbing Wall, Mechanical Bull, Zip Rider, Inflatable Jump House and Slide, and the Trams. The boys loved going on the Alpine Slide. Beka took Tyler on the Ropes Course. But our favorite part of the whole day was riding the Tram up to the top of the mountain. Once we were up there they had a cave that went through the mountain to the other side. It was extremely cool! The only bad part of the whole day was when Ethan decided to throw his hat off of the tram. If anyone would like to hike up and get it for us, it is sitting at the base of tower 20…
Utah Lake Boating
Sunday, August 21st, 2011Our good friends took us boating on Utah Lake a few weeks ago and we had a blast. Chris tried to water ski but was unable to stand up, so he stuck to the tube. Sadly we were unable to get Beka in the water though. She gets sea sick easily and wasn’t feeling to hot on the way out so she just sat on the boat. Chris and the boys loved riding the tube though and never wanted to get off. It was a blast.
Ward Camp-out 2011
Sunday, August 21st, 2011We bought some new camping gear and headed up Maple Canyon for the Ward Camp-out. We buddied up with the Harts and the Andersens for dinner and dessert. I made Dutch oven enchiladas and Amanda made dutch oven cobbler. Then we roasted some marshmallows and headed to bed. Sadly it wasn’t a very peaceful night. Between the old man talking behind us, Ethan playing in the tent, Ethan crying in the tent, Brandon talking about Bears, and snoring coming from all directions, we only got a little bit of sleep. We got up and had some great breakfast. Chris helped make the eggs, bacon and sausage on his new Camp Chef. He was excited to break it in. After that we packed up and headed down the mountain to go to a soccer game.
Memorial Day in St. George
Tuesday, May 31st, 2011We loved our time in the pool. It was great weather. We got away from all the rain and cold weather and just got to enjoy the warm weather and getting a sun tan.
The Condo was located on a Golf Course and so they had a little putting green that we could use. We spent hours on there having all sorts of contests.
They had a fun little playground off to the side of our Condo that the kids played on every day.
